Children’s Port Sunday School

Children’s Port is Balfour Baptist Church’s Preschool Sunday School. Children’s Port provides a caring environment for preschooler’s to learn and grow in their knowledge of the Bible and laying a foundation for children to make a personal decision to trust Jesus as they mature. Children’s Port uses games, crafts, and developmentally appropriate curriculum to teach preschoolers.

Kidz Tank Sunday School — Grades 1-6

Teachers: Jerri Lutz, Randy Lutz, Emily Darnell

Ms. Jerri works diligently each week to bring the truths of God’s Word to life for the Balfour kids. Whether it is the lesson, songs, games or crafts, these children are being taught to hide God’s Work in their hearts!

6th – 12th Grades

Youth Sunday School

Teachers: Kenny & Charlene Watts

Mr. Kenny leads the Youth Sunday School Class through Answers In Genesis curriculum, diving each week into God’s Word and encouraging scripture memorization.

This co-ed discussion based class walks verse by verse through different books of the Bible.

Sisters In Christ

Taught by: Laura Ward

The Sisters In Christ Class uses Lifeway’s Life-Ventures Curriculum and is largely discussion based. Life-Ventures features Bible study that is relevant for retired adults and seeks to equip, encourage, and minister to those in their retirement years, motivating them to share their valuable experiences with younger generations.

The Joy Class

Co-ed Senior Adults 65 and up

Taught by: Doug May

The Joy class is lecture based with discussion encouraged. Joy uses Lifeway’s Life-Ventures curriculum which is designed for Seniors. Life-Ventures features Bible study that is relevant for retired adults and seeks to equip, encourage, and minister to those in their retirement years, motivating them to share their valuable experiences with younger generations.
